Now, My Review

I have seriously never had one second of downtime with hostgator. All questions I have had were answered within just a couple of hours. I have sent my friends to hostgator too, and they all love it. Almost all of them were using GoDaddy before. GoDaddy can be "ok" for their domain registration, however..their hosting is really bad.

I personally suggest at most registering your domain on GoDaddy. But then use the hosting from hostgator. It will save you such a HUGE headache.

When I switched over to my main business income being online, I immediately put my first trust into hostgator and I have been really happy with it. With hosting providers it comes down to a few basic things.

• Speed
• Reliability
• Customer Service
• Tools

Price: You can get the first month for a cent, then only about $7.50 a month afterwards . I have not found anything with close to that value.

Speed: Google now actually ranks sites based on their speed. This was a BIG factor for me. I wanted to be on the first page in google. I have gotten every single one of my sites on the first page of google with Hostgator speed. It is fantastic on all of my sites.

Reliability: I pretty much live online, and if one of my sites go down I would become a very angry person. However, with hostgator I have never had this problem. Not even once. This is huge factor for me.

Customer Service: I have had questions about billing options or certain hosting features on rare occasion. Just about every question I have sent to them was answered almost immediately. And, questions that were not able to be answered right away, were answered within a couple hours.

Tools: They give you so many tools! You won’t even need to use half of them..but they are all nice to have! They give you at least 3 different ways to access your email. Several ways to create databases, and many options for FTP clients is fantastic. They even have a one button wordpress installation which will save you a TON of time and money too. I’ve never seen any hosting with tools as good as hostgator has.
